Controlling the tool lifespan of machining was a big problem, also tool positioning errors on the machine and in the pre-set caused very expensive accidents.

The implementation of the Sequor Tool Management system allowed an effective control of all the tools that circulate in the company. Now the lifespan of each tool is calculated
based on its actual use. The integration with the pre-set machines eliminated the adjustment errors and preparation of the machining centers, the set-up time decreased significantly.

The integration with the ERP allowed to maintain precise cost control and eliminated inventory errors .

After successfully managing the machining tools, the system was expanded to the injection and stamping area, where the same concept came to be used in the control of molds and dies.

Real gains: after 1 month of using the system, the difference between real and logical stock has been reduced by 83%. The ROI for this project was 7 months.
